Montauk #Solutions Guide!

I recently went to Montauk, and was surprisingly overwhelmed by how much i loved it there. Being from New Jersey, I have access to the beach, a pool and even boating so I never felt the need to travel 3 hours to the Hamptons to experience something similar. However Montauk was so relaxing and the beaches were actually gorgeous! So if you are on the fence about going, definitely go!

Where I Stayed:

I stayed at the Hero Beach Club. I thought this was going to be a small hotel with a great website gallery but a disappointment in person. on the other hand, it exceeded my expectation in regards to service, setting and location!

Hotel Features:

  • The Garden: grab a room with a balcony and overlook the garden and ocean while having your morning coffee

  • Pool & Beach Access: I am more of a beach person, but the pool was a decent size with lots of seating. On the beach, they offer umbrellas and comfortable lounge chairs, along with complimentary water to stay hydrated! The beach accommodations and services made the resort fee so worth it!

  • Clean rooms, quick and immediate front and desk concierge services.

  • Friendly staff to welcome you and assist you during the stay

  • Complimentary breakfast muffins, fruit, bagels and coffee.

  • Complimentary workout classes, bonfire & s’mores and other recreational activities

Where I Ate:

  • Crows Nest:

  • Duryea’s: Duryea’s is the place to go for Lobster, Raw Bar 🍴and an Ocean View🌊! I highly recommend going for dinner at sunset and watch the sky transform in color! 🌅This restaurant has such a euro vibe and an awesome menu. I got this amazing Lobster Salad 🥗🦞to share and it was so worth it ☺️😋

  • Navy Beach: Beachfront outdoor and indoor dining, of course with a nautical themed decor. We had the best small plates here; kale salad, salmon tartare and lobster mac & cheese.

  • Sel Rrose: Sel Rrose Montauk is Kristin Vincent’s 4th venue. Vincent has ventured out her comfort zone of the Lower East Side, where all three of her other bars are located, to the waterfront of Montauk.

Where To Meet Up Friends Day/Night:

  • Surf Lodge: This entire property is worth coming to or even staying at.

    • Restaurant: Make a reservation for the outdoor seating for a meal and then move down to the bar/lounge area for concerts, local bands and all the good vibes.

  • Gurney’s Resort: This is one of the more upscale hotels in Montauk. The Scarpetta Restaurant inside is renown. If you want to just stop by to hang out, they have a great bonfire bar outside to lounge by at night.

Where To Get Coffee

Stop by left hand for the perfect iced lattes with oat milk! The coffee is locally sourced and made in a sustainable way. If you’re into pour-overs, they have over the top three-tier contraptions. All inside a beachy decorated coffee shop.

I hope this simple guide helps you plan your next Montauk trip!
